OverviewJoin to apply for the CCM Change Technology Product Owner role at Direct Line Group.Location: Bristol, Doncaster, Leeds or London - Hybrid (2 days a week in the office).
Full Time, Permanent Position.What you'll be doingPlan and manage Squad sprint cycles to deliver multiple initiatives and small change activities simultaneouslyOwn and prioritise the Squad delivery backlog in line with agreed business and technology prioritiesTranslate business outcomes into delivery requirements and solution designs, avoiding over-engineering while championing incremental, iterative deliveryDefine requirements using agile frameworks such as User Story Mapping, Epics, Features, user story writing and prototyping, while managing JIRA and associated toolsetsEnsure change is successfully delivered through clear User Story definition, effective test coverage and robust deployment planningLead and oversee end-to-end Squad delivery cycles, ensuring features are delivered to meet agreed business outcomesTake ownership of minor platform releases, ensuring they meet governance and quality standards, while supporting the planning and delivery of major releasesAct as the primary point of escalation for the Squad/Platform team, managing key admin activities including time sheeting, cost allocation and release/out-of-hours supportProactively manage risks and issues, putting in place effective mitigations and escalating in line with programme governanceWhat you'll needSME understanding of the relevant Channels Platforms ecosystem, with the ability to translate technical concepts and Business Owner outcomes into a common languageExperience applying Agile delivery frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, large-scale programme delivery) and using tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Planview, MSP)Experience planning and managing squad delivery backlogs and sprint cycles to deliver business outcomes efficientlyAbility to lead minor and support major platform releases, ensuring governance, quality standards and deployment plansStrong stakeholder management skills, capable of balancing competing priorities and driving clarity across business and technical teamsBenefits9% employer contributed pensionAnnual company bonus of up to 10%50% off home, motor and pet insurance, plus Green Flag breakdown coverAdditional optional Health and Dental insuranceEV car scheme allows all colleagues to lease a brand new electric or plug-in hybrid car in a tax efficient wayGenerous holidaysBuy as you earn share schemeEmployee discounts and cashbackPlus, many moreBe yourselfDirect Line Group is an equal opportunity employer, and we think diversity of background and thinking is a big strength in our people.
