The primary responsibility of the role will be to work with internal and external partners/stakeholders to build a more evidence-driven STEM education ecosystem using an implementation science approach. The position will work towards systemic change within the STEM education ecosystem by employing methods and strategies that facilitate the uptake of evidence-driven practice, programs, and policies, including embedding data and evaluation tools, processes, frameworks and technology.

The role is part of a national team and will work closely with the other team members and across the CSIRO Education and Outreach business unit.

**Your duties will include**:

- Work with internal and external stakeholders in the STEM education ecosystem to facilitate the uptake of evidence-based STEM education and learning policies, programs, and practices.
- Help identify and address barriers that hinder the adoption and scalability of evidence-based STEM education interventions and models.
- In collaboration with stakeholders, develop and share practical guides, resources, and tools to assist in achieving a more evidence-driven STEM education ecosystem.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Location: Capital cities, Newcastle, Townsville, Cairns

**Salary**: AU$110k - AU$119k plus up to 15.4% superannuation

**To be considered you will need**:
**Essential**:

- Under CSIRO policy only those who meet all essential criteria can be appointed._
- Relevant diploma/bachelor's or advanced degree or equivalent relevant work experience in implementation science, or a related field.
- Ability to manage complex projects with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience liaising with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve objectives on time and within budget.

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge and experience in STEM education data or research or evaluation projects.
