**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role is a Permanent position DIDO from our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes - bus available from Bunbury location only) and other nearby scenic communities.

As the Operator Refinery Process you will be responsible for safely execute production activities according to the schedule and operate the physical assets, plant and equipment as defined by HSEC requirements, the operations standards and operating procedures.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

- Demonstrate commitment and conformance to safe work practices and procedures.
- Understand scope and competency required, SAP operation long text, job hazards and timeframe.
- Update routines and check sheets & Complete handover log.
- Provide quality handover with integrity.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Has previously worked in a team and has contributed to projects.
- Understand root cause of emergent work.
- Conduct personal risk assessment for task, be safety orientated.
- Good verbal and communication skills.
- Follow procedures for tasks and identify improvements.
- Previous experience with fluid bed calciners and/or filtration equipment (filters, tanks, pumps) would be advantageous.

Qualifications for this position are:

- Holds Certificate III in Process Plant Manufacturing or a minimum of 5 years' experience as an operator in a minerals/oil/gas process plant environment.
