**About the role**

We are looking to hire a Permanent Vineyard Operator to join our McLaren Vale Vineyards team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of growing super-premium fruit for some of our most loved Penfolds wines.

Your day-to-day will consist of:

- Conduct tractor and machinery operations, including pruning, harvesting, spraying, mowing, mulching, trimming, and leaf plucking
- Manage irrigation operations and perform maintenance tasksEngage in hands-on vineyard work such as training and trellising to ensure the highest quality standards

**About you**

Successful applicants will naturally take pride in their work, be motivated to learn new skills, throw themselves into being one of the team, have a good eye for detail and an overall positive attitude.
- Vineyard operator experience is a nice-to-have but we are open to a variety of past skills
- Safety focused with an eye for detail
- A reliable and engaged team player
- Able to perform manual handling work (a pre-employment medical check will be part of the recruitment process).
- Forklift License is great to haveUnrestricted drivers license
