**THE OPPORTUNITY**
As a member of the Global Emerging Markets team based in our Sydney studio, you will be joining a team of designers who are focused on delivering sustainable design solutions, demonstrating attention to detail, and crafting projects that deliver design excellence. As an expert in parametric 3D modeling you will impart your knowledge across the wider team. We are looking for a creative thinker capable of undertaking work on a range of projects, from concept design to construction documentation. You will be a team player wanting to contribute to the sustainable design profession and McGregor Coxall.
As an Urban/Landscape Designer with McGregor Coxall, your focus will be to:
- Help deliver complex projects from inception through to successful completion
- Work with highly motivated design and documentation teams across all project stages, from initial sketch design, detailed design, documentation through to contract administration
- Construction documentation
**ABOUT YOU**
This role is suited to someone with 3+ years of post-graduate experience (Urban Design, Public Realm, Landscape Architecture) who possesses the following competencies:
- A portfolio that demonstrates design excellence; specifically complex parametric modeling
- Advanced Rhinoceros 3D skills (Rhino) - essential
- Masterplanning experience - essential
- Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to visualise design projects;
- Construction documentation and reporting capabilities;
- Technical abilities across a wide range of projects from concept to construction;
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills including producing well-written and incisive reports;
- Working knowledge of the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, SketchUp, and Lumion;
- The ability to demonstrate effectiveness and a strong commitment to working in a team; setting and delivering high-quality client service and technical competence; and
