Complex Mental Health Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled and experienced nurse to fill a challenging position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating consumer-focused care plans based on evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities
Provide thorough mental health assessments and create tailored care plans that cater to the unique needs of consumers.
Collaborate closely with internal and external partners, including Residential Aged Care Facility staff, to offer education and guidance.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions and care plans for consumers presenting with complex mental health needs and/or behaviors of concern.
Requirements
A Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years full-time post-graduate experience in a mental health specialty.
An approved post-graduate qualification within the specialty of mental health drug and alcohol or other such qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
Demonstrated experience working with consumers and their carers presenting with complex mental health needs and/or behaviors of concern.
This role requires immunization and screening for certain diseases. Candidates must complete the OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool during the recruitment process.
