Complex Mental Health Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled and experienced nurse to fill a challenging position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating consumer-focused care plans based on evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide thorough mental health assessments and create tailored care plans that cater to the unique needs of consumers.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external partners, including Residential Aged Care Facility staff, to offer education and guidance.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions and care plans for consumers presenting with complex mental health needs and/or behaviors of concern.
- A Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years full-time post-graduate experience in a mental health specialty.
- An approved post-graduate qualification within the specialty of mental health drug and alcohol or other such qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
- Demonstrated experience working with consumers and their carers presenting with complex mental health needs and/or behaviors of concern.
This role requires immunization and screening for certain diseases. Candidates must complete the OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool during the recruitment process.
