**The Role**:
We are seeking highly skilled Aircrew Officers to join our dynamic rotary wing team and make a real difference to the lives of those in need. You will assist the pilot to carry out all aeromedical, search and rescue, emergency and counter disaster operations and other government support duties. Your flight experience will ensure you can work as an effective team member within the aircraft whilst conducting primary rescues, secondary interhospital transfers and counter disaster work alongside frontline Queensland Government services.

**What We're Looking for**:
**Mandatory requirements**:
Qualified Helicopter Aircrew Officer with at least 500 hours logged Aircrew Officer rotary wing hours and operational winching experience including night winching or 1000 hours EMS experience.
CASA Aviation Class 2 Medical Certificate.
Previously held a Bronze Medallion Surf Life Saving qualification or Certificate II in Public Safety/Aquatic Rescue.
Current Senior First Aid.
Advanced Resuscitation/CPR Certificate.
Winch and Rappel Competency Certificate.
Certificate IV Aviation - Aircrew Officer.
**Highly Desirable Requirements**:
AW 139 Aircrew Officer Endorsement/Qualification.
Front Left Hand Seat Cockpit Qualified.
Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET).
Helicopter Aircrew Breathing Device (HABD) Training.
Emergency Breathing Systems (EBS) Training.
Dangerous Goods Awareness Training.
Previous SAR/EMS experience.
100 hours NVIS experience.
Special Conditions
Applicants must pass the Aircrew Officer Physical Fitness test of:
400m swim in under 10 minutes; and either of the following options
The two tests must be completed within a four-hour period.
