About This Role">

Are you a highly skilled and experienced search and rescue professional looking for a challenging opportunity? We are seeking an Aircrew Officer to join our team, responsible for conducting search and rescue operations in various onshore and offshore environments. The successful candidate will be proficient in operating helicopters, managing aircraft rear cabins, and providing first aid in emergency situations.

This is a technical role that requires strong communication, planning, and organisation skills, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities. You will work closely with the aircraft captain to ensure safe and efficient flight operations, and may be required to travel to all CHC bases, including training and deployment locations.

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Aviation, a current Class II medical, and hold CASA-approved hoist endorsement under CASR PART 133/13. A minimum of 500 hours of aircrew experience is also required, along with a current Class 1 driver's license and ability to pass Company physical fitness assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain qualifications - Aircrew Officer (Dual Qualified - Rescue Crew Officer)
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Conduct safe flight operations complying with company operations manuals and relevant regulations
  • Assist in the management of the aircraft rear cabin during flying operations
  • Conduct appropriate flight and safety briefings
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
