Helicopter Maintenance Test Pilot Opportunity

The role of Helicopter Maintenance Test Pilot is a critical position within our organization, responsible for conducting ground and test flight schedules on the 135 based platform.

Key responsibilities include liaising with maintenance and engineering teams for coordination of aircraft support efforts, acting as the lead aircrew member at Oakey, and updating aircraft records.

Applicants must hold a current CASA Class 1 Medical, CASA Commercial Pilot Licence (Helicopter), and recognised Maintenance Test Pilot endorsement within the ADF Flight Management System.

Essential criteria also include clear and effective English written and verbal communication skills, current Competency Standard HLTAID003 - Provide first aid, and ability to work in a team.

The ideal candidate will possess intermediate to advanced level of MS Office skills and be able to obtain and maintain a baseline Defence security clearance.
