About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Workplace Engineer for a 6-week engagement to support both project and business-as-usual activities.
The ideal candidate will bring expert-level knowledge in Active Directory and Entra ID, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to drive technical change in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and analyze current Active Directory (AD) environments to support migrations, improvements, and remediation activities.
Provide technical leadership and coordination for the rebranding initiative (domain transition from abc.com to xyz.com).
Perform day-to-day administration of AD, Entra ID hybrid identities, Group Policies, and access management.
Evaluate and implement changes across DNS, email domains, UPNs, certificates, and web properties.
Use PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API to automate administrative tasks.
Troubleshoot and assess the impact of changes to AD objects and identity configurations.
Provide technical support and administration across Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, Intune, SCCM, and Windows OS.
Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and provide end-to-end technical solutions.
Document requirements, design, as-built configurations, and support procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience with Active Directory architecture and administration in enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of Entra ID hybrid identity management.
Experience with domain transitions, including changes to email, DNS, UPNs, and certificates.
Proven ability to assess impact, plan, and coordinate changes for major IT transformations.
Proficient in PowerShell scripting and using the MS Graph API.
Strong skills in troubleshooting, analysis, and remediation of AD-related issues.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills-able to balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery.
Experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, Intune, SCCM, SharePoint, and endpoint devices.
