- Exciting new senior clinical leadership role to work directly and indirectly with young people, their families and carers where there are existing mental health and substance use issues (Dual Diagnosis).

**About the Role**
The purpose of this position is to support existing community based and bed-based services within the Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health Service (ICYMHS) within the Austin Health Mental Health Division, across all campuses
- Heidelberg ( 2 campuses), MacLeod and Epping. The roles will implement integrated treatment, care and support for people with co-occurring mental illness and substance use and addiction as per guidance from Department of Health publications (2022). The role is a capacity building role that will support practice improvements across the service.
A regular day will see you:
- Work closely with service leaders and clinicians to ensure that substance use issues are clearly identified and considered in treatment planning / and that care is person-centred, holistic, and responsive and well co ordinated.
- Support consumers to access mental health services and other relevant community resources to assist in their ongoing treatment and recovery.
**About You**
You will bring:
- Substantial experience of the AOD sector
- A strong understanding of the Victorian public mental health system and relevant legislation.
- A deep understanding of recovery-focused care and an ability to work from a strengths-based approach across dual diagnosis.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and supervision as part of your role.
- Highly effective communication skills and the ability to engage with staff capacity building their skills and knowledge in the AOD area.
- A commitment to ensuring safe, best-practice care that puts consumers at the heart of the decision-making process.

- A relevant qualification and current AHPRA registration.

- The desire to work collaboratively as part of a multi disciplinary team
