The Club aims to consistently provide, at the highest standard, a range of recreational and social amenities that are attractive, enjoyable and relevant to our members in a safe and friendly environment, located right on the beach._**

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and hands-on Duty Manager.

As the Duty Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient day to day operation of the Coogee Legion Club, while supporting a team of hospitality professionals in varying roles.

The Duty Manager is required to primarily focus is customer satisfaction, efficient leadership, meeting service standards, venue safety, presentation and motivation, whilst overseeing a portfolio and making recommendations thus.

In this position you will:

- Provide clear direction and support across the business.
- Manage staff and operations during Club trading for the achievement of policy objectives, optimum staff performance and customer satisfaction of members and guests.
- Ensure a safe, welcoming and compliant environment for members and guests.
- Manage shifts including rostering, leave and unexpected absences.
- Manage stock, inventory and cash.
- Oversee onsite entertainment, promotions and events.
- Ensure compliance of all internal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure a positive working environment and consistent customer experience.
- Manage an individual portfolio (Events).

This is a full-time, salaried position in which you will be strongly supported by a professional management team and work in a progressive and successful venue.

To be successful, you will have:

- Relevant industry qualifications/experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a hospitality management role.
- Strong leadership skills to motive and manage a diverse team of individuals.
- A confident approach and demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding results for customer service, safety and security of the venue.
- A mature, responsible and proactive attitude to bringing your best to work.
- Professional presentation and grooming.

You will work a rotation roster of day and night shifts, which will include 7 days off in every 21-day cycle.
