**About the Opportunity**
As the Group eCommerce Manager, you will play a key leadership role in delivering eCommerce business outcomes, including new initiatives and identifying new opportunities. The role of Group eCommerce Manager - Trading is to lead the eCommerce Trading Strategy of Dan Murphys partnering with Marketing, Merchandise and others across the business.
In this role you will be thinking both commercially and strategically for business and customer outcomes. You will have a strong technical curiosity and understand how to navigate complex platforms. You will be looking to stay ahead of the curve by offering new insights from research, customers while drawing from previous eCommerce experience.
- Accountable to lead and evolve the eCommerce Trading Strategy that delivers sales Customer Growth as well as the Budgeted P&L outcomes that are aligned to business strategy and Group objectives.
- Lead execution of the online trade plan through campaign execution and on-site messaging. Work with teams across Endeavour to evolve how personalisation of product and content shows up online
- Set and deliver clear OKRs and roadmap horizons that align to the delivery of the strategy, including impacts to customer and key eCommerce drivers.
- Drive the brand strategy, customer, and tribal mission when making decisions
- Review customer research and provide relevant inputs and insights that should be taken into account when developing the Trading strategy.
- Understand and evaluate external, market and industry trends; anticipating brand or business impacts and identifying business opportunities.
- Measure and report on the success of the team's performance and its impact in the business
- Accountable for the quality of the squad's released work, managing prioritisation and trade-offs among conflicting business priorities as well as the most efficient use of resources to deliver squad missions.
- Set performance & agile ways of working standards across your squad; building commitment to business strategies, squad missions and creating alignment, direction and role clarity for the team.
- Define eCommerce metrics that need to be tracked across the portfolio and work in partnership with the Data & Analytics team to enable the tracking and reporting needs.
- Leverage data and insights to continually optimise and deliver the most value out of the Trading Strategy that Dan Murphy's operates.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- 7+ years experience working in a digital or retail business primarily in eComm roles
- You are a highly experienced eCommerce leader with prior experience directly managing eComm managers, eCom platforms, production and campaign execution
- You are an excellent communicator and have incredible stakeholder management experience, you look to get the best outcome for all involved
- A consistent history of delivering measurable results for both customers and the business
- You love your customers, and you want to create world class shopping experiences across web and app
- You enjoy working in a product based environment where platform led growth improves customer experiences
- Experience working in an agile organisation or with cross functional agile teams
- **Key skills**:
- Leads & supervises team of eCom Managers, and platforms
- Manages/mentors one or more eCom managers.
- Prepares, presents and implements business cases and business plans for new markets, new website/app features, and new ideas.
- Gains and maintains expertise in the eCom trends.
- Provides communication to a wide variety of audiences i.e. customers, senior management, internal groups, and internal departments.
