Piping Draftsperson

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is an ASX listed (GNG) engineering consulting and contracting organisation providing high quality process engineering design and construction services to the resources and mineral processing industry. **The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking an experienced **Piping Draftsperson** to join our growing office team based in Milton, QLD. Reporting to the Drawing Office Manager, you will play an integral role in the design of wet and dry mineral process plants and bulk material handling projects.

**Key Responsibilities of the role**:

- Lead piping design efforts for large-scale EPC projects from conception to completion
- Produce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies and procedures
- Communicate with the project team, provide updates, raise issues and attend team meetings
- Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to ensure designs are accurate, feasible and meet project requirements
- Deliver and contribute to practical solutions
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior team members
- Develop piping layouts and detailed drawings based on project requirements and specifications
- Ensure the quality of deliverables in line with the relevant codes and standards, needs of the customer and regulatory authorities

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- At least 5+ years of multi-discipline experience in piping design and drafting within the EPC environment
- Proficient in the design layout of mineral processing plants
- Advance diploma or equivalent in Engineering is desirable
- Experience with SolidEdge, SolidWorks or Inventor is desirable
