**About the Role**:
JBS Australia has an extensive presence along the eastern seaboard of Australia, with operations including 17 meat processing plants, Smallgoods businesses, ready-made meals and 6 feedlots. JBS Australia have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic, qualified and experienced Mechanical Draftsperson to join our Engineering team based at the Northern Office in Riverview. Despite the size and scale of JBS, we have a relaxed and family friendly work environment.

**Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:
Reporting to the Group Engineer, the proactive and technically strong Mechanical Draftsperson will be responsible for the technical design and detailing of process systems and equipment typical of a fast-paced food manufacturing organisation. In addition, the Mechanical Draftsperson will assist with the design and drafting of manufacturing processes as well as mechanical, structural and piping drawings.

**About you**:

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering design or plant process drafting;
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Drafting;
- Design experience with AutoCAD, both 2D and 3D.
- Understanding, experience and knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes;
- Strong communication, technical and analytical skills;
- Succeed in an autonomous environment with mínimal supervision;
- Available to travel and work with multiple sites within Australia.
