Exciting Opportunity: Join our Vibrant Medical Practice Team

We are a thriving practice located in Marrickville, seeking a friendly and self-motivated individual to join our team as a medical receptionist. This position is available to replace a graduating uni student, and we are looking for someone who can seamlessly handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment while being efficient with computers and various responsibilities.

As a vital member of our busy practice, you will be responsible for managing phone calls, attending to patients, and fulfilling doctors' requests simultaneously. Initially, the role will require working 2-4 shifts per week, with the potential for additional shifts in the near future. Flexibility is essential, as you may be required to provide relief for other staff members from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Possess a positive attitude, high motivation, and energy._
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals, including challenging patients._
- Demonstrated patience and resilience in handling difficult patients._
- Demonstrated proficiency in fast and accurate data entry._
- Proficient in computer skills, including MS Word, Outlook, and Hotdoc, or willingness to learn._
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication skills._
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle confidential information._
- Exhibit a caring and attentive attitude towards colleagues, patients, and doctors._
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to acquire new skills._
- Experience with Medical Software, preferably MD & Pracsoft, and knowledge of medical terminology or willingness to learn._
- Presentable appearance and reliable nature._
- Thrive as a team player and maintain an approachable and friendly demeanor_

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Marrickville, NSW 2204: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
