Stock Controller - Charlestown

The Stock Controller is responsible for processing and tagging all incoming stock to City Beach retail stores. You will help to create a shoppable environment and support the store to exceed sales conversion and customer engagement measures by ensuring by that all new stock reaches sales floor as efficiently and accurately as possible. You will also support our store teams on the sales floor, creating exceptional and memorable experiences for our customers.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Receive all incoming stock into the store efficiently and in line with company expectations.
- Ensure incoming product is security tagged in positions that will have mínimal impact to our customer's experience of the product when trying it on or interacting with it, and to prevent illicit removal of tags.
- Undertake an audit of all stock before it reaches the sales floor to ensure that all product is correctly security tagged, hung, and barcoded.
- Achieve compliance with stock benchmarking targets, and lead and motivate the store team to improve stock processing results.
- Prepare and process all relevant paperwork for incoming and outgoing stock deliveries and ensure the accurate documentation of all stock discrepancies.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and be able to research and describe product features and benefits.
- Collaborate with the store leadership team to identify opportunities, issues, or needs as it relates to stock management standards.
- Work with the store team to maintain high standards of store presentation including keeping our shopfloor and stock room neat and tidy.

- Previous experience in a fast-paced and high-volume retail environment will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience driving and leading a team to achieve results.
- Ability to manage time, prioritise and organise tasks effectively.
- Flexible approach in reacting positively to changing work demands.
