Stock Controller – Beautopia Hair & Beauty

A leading hair and beauty wholesaler, at Beautopia, we pride ourselves on offering the most comprehensive range of top-quality hair and beauty products both in-store and online. We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Controller to join our growing team and oversee our inventory for both our physical stores and e-commerce platforms.

Position Overview:

As our Stock Controller, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels across all channels. Your role is crucial in ensuring our products are well-stocked, accurately tracked, and efficiently organised to meet customer demand and support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage stock levels for both physical store inventory and online sales platforms.

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock shipments.

  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using our stock management system.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely replenishment of stock.

  • Organise and optimize storage areas for easy access and safety.

  • Prepare reports on stock levels, turnover rates, and forecast future needs.

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and logistics teams to support promotional activities and product launches.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in stock handling and storage.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or retail operations essential.

  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office Suite. (In flow inventory, shopify and retail express preferred but not essential)

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks efficiently.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Knowledge of hair and beauty products is a plus but not essential.

  • Perfect oral and written English language skills
