We offer Opportunities for career development and progression.About the roleA unique opportunity to work a predominately 9:00am to 5:30pm schedule as a Chef Manager.
This role reports directly to Operations Managers and ensures the smooth running of the kitchen on a day-to-day basis.DutiesPreparation and cooking of meals as per the set menuEnsure meals are of high quality with excellent presentationCommunicating with Site Manager and Facility staffProvide supervision and direction to Kitchen StaffEnsure safe food handling and hygiene practices are maintainedCompletion of food safety documentationAdhere to budgets, stock take and regular ordering proceduresAssisting with kitchen staff schedules and filling shiftsSkills & experienceCertificate III in Commercial CookeryExperience in Aged Care preferredExperience with Western CookingBasic computer skills, including Outlook and ordering processesInternal transfers and opportunity for growthLearning and personal development opportunitiesAccess to our free and confidential Employee Assistant Program for mental health and well-being support.Exclusive staff discounts and rewards program, giving you access to save on everyday products and services.We are an equal opportunity employer that values and respects diversity and inclusion.
