As the Supply Chain Lead (6-month fixed term contract), you will play a pivotal role in delivering AGL's Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program (CIRMP) to ensure compliance with the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act. Working closely with AGL's Procurement team, you will strengthen major supplier agreements, enhance supplier relationship management, and ensure robust contract governance across the business. You are contract savvy and understand lawyer jargon, you have an excellent ability to build relationships across multiple sites within the AGL portfolio and live our values daily.

What you'll be doing:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritise contracts for negotiation.
- Partner with contract managers to implement an updated contract management framework.
- Lead supplier negotiations to optimise commercial outcomes and SOCI compliance.
- Ensure contracts align with AGL policies and processes, with proper governance and stakeholder engagement.
- Review and develop the Supplier Relationship Management Framework for major SOCI suppliers.

What you'll bring:

- Proficient negotiation and influencing skills with external suppliers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including effective written and presentation abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships across departments and external agencies.
- Effective project management skills, including analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of interacting and challenging at all organisational levels.
- Demonstrated experience in SAP Ariba (required).

**Experience**:

- Post-qualification experience in procurement or related commercial roles, including large complex corporations.
- Demonstrated success in senior procurement roles, with experience in complex sourcing and negotiation strategies.
- Proven track record in supplier relationship management framework development and implementation.
- Effective operation in complex and regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of risk management and best practice procurement processes.

Qualifications:

- Preferred tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Commerce, Business, or Law, with additional qualifications highly valued.
- MCIPS qualification (desirable).
