**About the role

Temporary full time or part time opportunity to function as a member of the team in the provision of sterilisation services under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife.

About you

Assist in the provision of nursing and midwifery team support and for delegated actions in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Decision Making Framework.
Function in accordance with legislation when undertaking activities as delegated to provide an environment and care that is safe and relevant for individuals and groups.
Contribute to the effective coordination of sterilisation services for the STARS Central Sterilising Unit in the provision of safe quality care.
Assist in identifying risks and opportunities for improvement and change to promote safe work activities, report workplace incidents and participate in collaborative review of systems and processes.
Work collaboratively with the interprofessional health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
