Role Description:

The Assistant in Nursing (AIN) assists and supports Registered Nurses in providing direct/indirect person-centred care and Medical Day and Renal unit duties as required.

The AIN is responsible for providing nursing care in a professional, safe, and compassionate manner as a member of the Medical Day Unit team according to their education and competence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing nursing care in a professional, safe, and compassionate manner
  • Assisting Registered Nurses in providing direct/indirect person-centred care
  • Supporting Medical Day and Renal unit duties as required
