- An exciting opportunity has arisen to fill the role of Payroll Manager at Colac Area Health. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Services you will lead a small but enthusiastic team to deliver outstanding payroll and salary packaging services to employees at Colac Area Health and their contracted services.- Experience in the area of payroll services.
- Proven ability to interpret and understand Industrial Agreements
- An understanding of employment and taxation legislation including Workplace Relations Act, Accident Compensation Act, Superannuation, Taxation etc is desirable.
- Computer literacy with skills in both Microsoft Excel, Word and a reporting program such as Microsoft Access or other report writers.
- A qualification in Business, HR, Finance or related study or working towards same

- Selection Criteria
- Essential: Experience in the area payroll services in payroll services
- Essential: Proven ability to interpret and understand Industrial Agreements
- Desirable: An understanding of employment and taxation legislation including Workplace Relations Act, Accident Compensation Act, Superannuation, Taxation etc
- Essential: A high level of computer literacy with skills in both Microsoft Excel, Word and a reporting program such as Microsoft Access or other report writers.
- Essential: A qualification in Business, HR, Finance or related study
- Desirable: Prior experience in Health
- Desirable: Previous experience supervising staff
- Desirable: Knowledge of Chris21 payroll system and Kronos Rostering Time and Attendance System
