Overview
Our client is well known in the state government sector, seeking a SOE/SCCM specialist to join the team. The role will support large-scale government environments and focus on the delivery, uplift, and ongoing support of enterprise Standard Operating Environments (SOEs) across complex, high-availability systems.
Responsibilities
Deploy and manage SOEs using MECM/SCCM (OS deployment, application packaging, software updates).
Support and administer Windows 10/11, Active Directory (Group Policy), and Horizon VDI environments.
Maintain and enhance desktop operating system images across physical and virtual platforms.
Provide expert technical support and advice in an enterprise environment.
Contribute to projects including customer onboarding, solution design, and piloting new technologies.
Mentor junior staff and drive improvements across infrastructure, processes, and tools.
About you
Proven experience with MECM/SCCM for enterprise SOE deployment and management.
Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
Skilled in supporting Windows 10/11 and virtual desktop environments.
Experience with ITSM/ITIL processes (change, incident, and problem management – ideally ServiceNow).
Highly regarded: Microsoft 365 tenant administration, Windows Server, PowerShell scripting.
