Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. Easily accessible to Sydney residents, our team of clinicians, allied health, and support staff works with the community on a shared goal to maintain the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the Blue Mountains region.

We are seeking to engage a Clinical Nurse/Midwife Specialist Grade 2 (CNMS2) to provide senior clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit, team or service. The incumbent will utilise advanced clinical skills and exercise extended autonomy of decision-making whilst working closely with managers and other senior clinician to provide safe, compassionate, person-centred health care in collaboration with patients, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams.

**What you will bring to the role**
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife Division 1 with AHPRA.
- Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing/midwifery care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of referral pathways and services related to discharge planning and ongoing care, including COMPACS, TACP, My Aged Care, ACAT.
- Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision maintaining involvement within the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
