Our client, a leader in the Rail Industry, is currently searching for an experienced Task Force Protection Coordinator to join them for a 12 month assignment, with the potential for extension.

Our client, a leader in the Rail Industry, is currently searching for an experienced Task Force Protection Coordinator to join them for a 12 month assignment, with the potential for extension.

This role is required to lead the Track Protection Review function within the department Projects area. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

- Report to the Track Protection Manager & Project Directors on a daily basis in relation to task assignment, priorities and functional requirements
- Manage the Project Track Protection Inspection database and the associated audit schedule
- Facilitate the development of 'SW' Circulars as necessary, where they are required to compliment project related agreed protection schemes
- Ensure that Project Rail Safety Management Plans are reviewed in accordance with works readiness requirements and conform in detail to the Rules and Operating Procedures and supporting appendices
- Ensure that project related Agreed Protection Plans are developed in accordance with works readiness timelines and the requirements of Section 15 of the Rules and Operating Procedures and supporting appendices
- Conduct Tool-Box talks on Track Protection and Access requirements for project sites, as directed by the Track Protection Manager/relevant Project Manager

Technical Capabilities Required
- Minimum of 5+ years relevant, high level work experience within Track Protection
- Demonstrated experience working on track within Regional areas of Victoria, along with proven experience with Rail Projects.
- Rail Safety Management Plan development/review experience
- Agreed Protection Plan development/review, as required by the Rules and Operating Procedures
- Sound knowledge of the 'Work on Track' Rules and Operating Procedures
- Ability to work within project teams and alliances to ensure the department's safety management system is upheld, while also facilitating major projects
- Relevant qualifications in SafeWorking or a similar relatable discipline is required
- Current TFPC 3.2 or 3.3 competency (mandatory)
- Highly developed communication & stakeholder engagement skills, both written and verbal, along with demonstrated ability to tailor communication style to suit a variety of different audiences

You will hold a Current Full Driver's Licence, a Current RIW Card (or ability to obtain) as well as a Construction Induction Card (or ability to obtain)
