Barwon Health is seeking highly motivated Registered Nurses to participate in the Emergency Department Transition Program.
About the Program
The program is designed for experienced nurses who want to transition into the specialty practice of emergency medicine. The successful applicants will have a minimum of 12 months acute nursing experience and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive patient assessment of adults and paediatrics
Introduction to ECG interpretation and high dependency nursing care skills
Management of invasive monitoring and non-invasive ventilation
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a strong background in acute nursing and a passion for emergency medicine. They must also have excellent communication skills and a motivation to continued professional development.
