Sales Performance Controller

- "This role sits within the Independent Sales function, reporting directly to the Head of Sales Effectiveness, Responsibilities include, managing a team of 3 supporting the development and implementation of the Independent Sales Strategy for Sky Business TV, developing new initiatives & sales tools that unlock new business, retain customers, and support the performance of our sales teams in both the field and the contact centre along with providing key analysis and recommendations to improve sales effectiveness and growth across the business" - Director of Sales_

What you'll do:

- Proactively recommend changes that improve Sales processes, operating model (contact centre and field) and drive improved efficiency, unlock sales potential, and deliver incremental revenue.
- Supervise weekly Indies performance vs. plan according to key KPIs highlighting areas of risk and opportunities and support future forecasting
- Regularly review performance vs plan, and provide future forecasts, working with HODs to ensure the vital mitigation plans are in place to deliver
- Be the custodian of the creation and curation of all key analysis and insight activity across the sales function, recommending ways to improve sales performance
- Taking the agreed annual business plans (in which you will have had significant input); lead planning and implementation of the quarterly Sales Strategy working collaboratively with Heads of Field and Contact Centre, Marketing and Finance to deliver new initiatives in driving revenue growth through: Operating Model, Software Strategy, Acquisition and Retention activities, Compliance, Partnership, operational efficiencies, and joint marketing activities
- Reviewing and optimising internal data to increase efficiency working closely with the data team.
- Lead the sales enablement function by delivering key quarterly requirements such as incentive schemes, offer usage and campaign planning and tracking to drive effective sales performance within the Field and Contact Centre
- Support our sales team with the right insights and tools to drive YoY Revenue Growth.
- Deliver sales campaigns that unlock revenue opportunities across the wider business.
- Lead the team to be brilliant at all aspects of sales effectiveness and performance while being responsible for the governance of key performance areas such as offer usage
- Lead from the front developing your team ensuring they all have clear objectives, PDPs and overall career development goals.
