Immediate start available. UFS - Mental Health & Disability Support has casual positions available for Disability and Mental Health Support workers in various locations. Hours and days are flexible. Pay is negotiable depending on experience, skills, qualifications and training. The positions would suit both experienced support workers, as well as people who are looking to begin working in the sector.
Although the role will start off on a casual basis, there is potential for progression with the company in many aspects, depending on your short term and long-term career objectives.

UFS - Mental Health & Disability Support is a small, independently owned Disability and Mental Health support service provider. We service from the Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast and everywhere in between. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of service in order for our participants to achieve their goals and live their best possible life. We use a holistic and person-centred approach to care and do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach as each person is unique.
**About The Role**
Immediate start available. Training and buddy shifts provided. These roles would suit both experienced support workers, as well as people looking to gain entry into the sector. We are seeking energetic and motivated disability and mental health support workers in various locations. Formal and personal, lived experience with disability and mental health is highly regarded.
Being motivated, encouraging, compassionate, fun and eager to learn is essential. We hire on a best match basis, which means you won't just be allocated to work with anyone. It will be the best and most suitable match for both the participant and the worker. Hours and days are flexible. Pay level is negotiable depending on skills, qualifications and experience. This role would be suitable for someone looking to enter the sector, as well as someone wanting to learn and develop new skills. Training and support are provided regularly.
**About You**
Having a passion for what you do as this speaks louder than qualifications. Knowledge, understanding and a willingness to learn about various conditions such as trauma, depression, anxiety and brain injuries. Personal, lived experience with disability and mental health is highly regarded. Being fun, motivated, caring, encouraging and a willingness to learn is key.
**Essential requirements**
Before you can begin work you are required to have: Valid and up to date Blue Card, Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Screening card, First Aid and CPR, Driver's licence and vehicle with full comprehensive insurance. If you do not obtain a Blue Card, Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Screening Card, we are happy to assist you in obtaining them.
**What We Offer**
UFS - Mental Health & Disability prides itself on being extremely hands on and supportive not only to our participants, but also our team. We offer ongoing support and training where needed, regular communication to provide feedback, buddy shifts and a real team spirit. You will be reimbursed for km's, paid over-time and penalty rates as well as superannuation. Pay is completed on a weekly basis and km's are to be submitted each Sunday. We have an amazing rostering and communications app which makes completing shifts and keeping up to date with shifts, news, and communications extremely easy.
