**Oriental Merchant **is a leading importer and distributor of authentic Asian groceries, supplying supermarkets with brands that are familiar throughout the Asia Pacific.

We are proud of what we have achieved in growing Asian food categories in Australia where we have a presence nationally, as well in New Zealand, Europe, Canada, Japan and the UK.

To keep up with the demand and our expanding business we are looking for a Sales Representative to join our team

**As one of our passionate Sales Representative, you will be**:

- Maximise monthly sales budget and yearly sales budget on a personal basis
- Recommend and distribute new lines to customers, place orders with individual customers to optimise the stock level in a timely manner
- Solicit additional stock orders where opportunities exist
- Check quality, appearance, data code and rotate stock as required and identify out-of-stock and follow up
- Maintain effective business relationship with store managers / owners
- Report competitive new lines or market activities being launched
- Check monthly promotional program tie-up against master file
- Collect outstanding payment from the customers in a timely manner
- Identify new business opportunities and discuss with team leaders
- Adapting to standard operating procedures and guidelines set for the sales team, and working cooperatively with other teams

**To be successful you will need**:

- Excellent sales skills with good understanding of features of company products
- Excellent verbal communication skill in both **Chinese and English**:

- Ability to utilize the data to update managers as required
- Ability to regularly monitor the execution of the team and report back to sales managers and to achieve the set target for the team
