**The Role**

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Broker Assistant to join our dynamic Debt Advisory team in our Melbourne office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to advance their career in mortgage broking.

As a Mortgage Broker Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our senior brokers by ensuring a seamless loan process for clients from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include coordinating communication between clients and key stakeholders, managing essential documentation, and handling various administrative tasks to contribute to successful client outcomes.

You will receive hands-on guidance from senior brokers, enabling you to expand your industry knowledge while developing your administrative and client relationship management skills.

As a Mortgage Broker Assistant, you will be responsible for:

- Help guide clients through the mortgage process, addressing queries and providing regular updates.
- Handle documentation, perform financial assessments, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

As our new team member, you will have_:_
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance or business (preferred)
- _Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking_ or_ Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management_ (or willing to obtain)
- Exposure to property, mortgage broking, banking, or financial services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first attitude
- Strong organisation skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the mortgage industry
