Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Mortgage Broker to join their team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in navigating loan processes and is passionate about building lasting, trust-based relationships with clients.

In this role, you will launch and develop the mortgage division by working with an existing client base—not through sales—but by leveraging established relationships. You'll oversee the end-to-end loan process, ensuring a seamless experience for clients while maintaining the trust and rapport already built over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients' financial situations and provide tailored mortgage solutions.
  • Manage the loan process from application to settlement efficiently.
  • Build, maintain, and expand client relationships.
  • Liaise with lenders and stay informed on industry products, policies, and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all mortgage and finance regulations.
  • Work independently and confidently navigate financial systems.
  • Educate and guide clients through their borrowing options, explaining loan structures, rates, and features.
  • Keep accurate records and ensure all compliance requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified and accredited mortgage broker (Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking, Diploma of Finance & Mortgage).
  • Strong understanding of the mortgage and finance market in Australia.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with a proven ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Driven, customer-focused, and committed to delivering high standards.
