Commercial OHS MANAGER Role: The OHS Manager will drive system compliance throughout the company and provide expert assistance, advice and coaching to site staff and managers on the management of OHS systems and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and industry best practice, in commercial construction.

Responsibilities: Report directly into the Directors & Construction Manager of the business Ensure that the OH&S program is compliant with industry standards Communicate best OH&S practices to staff, contractors and sub-contractors Promoting a safe and positive work culture acting as a role model in Safety Leadership Provide ongoing Health and Safety assistance & training Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety Management Plan Use engaging methods of consultation including prestart and toolbox meetings and

conducting investigations Maintaining site incident, induction and records using Skytrust Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as

evolving best practices in compliance controls Perform benchmarking for reporting to provide recommendations to management Part of Senior Leadership Group Carry out weekly audits as required Prepare and deliver monthly operation reports

About you: Cert IV in OHS Minimum 5 years safety experience within commercial construction Display a genuine passion for safety within the construction industry Ideally have experience with Federal Accreditation
