Our client is a specialist civil engineering and geotechnical company with a presence within the Civil Infrastructure, Rail, Oil & Gas and Mining sectors.
Due to the award of a $100m+ package on a new high profile infrastructure project in Melbourne they have an immediate requirement for an experienced
**Safety Manager**
**or at minimum a Senior Safety Adviser **who can demonstrate previous experience overseeing and managing all aspects of safety on civil / infrastructure projects valued at a minimum $50m+.
Our clients project will consist of deep excavation, piling, diaphragm walls and ground improvement, applicants with this nature of experience on a large scale will be looked upon favorably, however this specific experience is not essential
In this role you will be responsible for implementing OHS&Q assurance procedures, involvement and planning with line managers and product delivery, oversee early planning of projects focusing on risk assessment and avoidance, management of site base advisors, interfacing with both contractor and client.
Although this position is project for for a 2yr duration this is a permanent role not solely project duration.

- **Minimum OHS Diploma Or Degree In Safety**:

- **8+ yrs Safety Experience**:

- **Minimum 3yrs Senior Safety Experience**:

- **5+ yrs Australian Civil Construction Experience**:

- **Management Experience On $50m+ Projects**:

- **Strong Communicator With Attention To Detail**:

- **Proven Experience Interfacing With Both Stakeholders, Clients And Senior Management**:

- **Knowledge of Industrial Relations **Advantageous**:

- **Melbourne Based** With Local Knowledge Preferred**
