We are seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Manager to join our organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with site teams to provide OHS support and implement OHS policies, ensuring a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • To build and continuously improve risk management strategies to minimize accidents and ensure compliance.
  • To conduct regular audits of the OHS system to identify areas for improvement.
  • To maintain a safe working environment in accordance with established OHS policies and procedures.
  • To assist project managers and site managers in implementing new initiatives related to OHS.
  • To develop training programs on health and safety issues to enhance employee awareness.
  • To review and approve subcontractor Site Work Management Systems (SWMS).
  • To research emerging technologies and trial best OHS solutions to improve workplace safety.

Requirements

  • Experience working on commercial projects is essential.
  • A degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a Certificate IV in OHS/WHS is required.
  • Proficiency in HammerTech is necessary.
  • OHS Auditor qualifications are highly desirable.
