**Your Role**
As an Impairment Benefits Specialist, you will be a point of expertise within GB's Workers compensation team relating to Impairment Benefits and Permanent Impairment claims.
In this highly technical role, you will complete thorough assessments of Impairment claims for injured workers, supplementary to their primary claim, with acute attention to detail and sound decision making within Workers Compensation legislative frameworks.
**You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following**:
- Providing a professional and customer focused claims service for all injured workers through managing impairment claims in accordance with legislation
- Acting as a technical reference point for other team members regarding impairment benefit queries
- Ensuring impairment assessments are accurate and complying with relevant legislation if and when required
- Attending internal and external training courses to update technical knowledge and personal development
- Achieving remuneration targets as described by the WorkSafe contract
**We're interested in hearing from people who possess**:
- Experience within Worker's Compensation Industry, preferably within an Impairment Benefits related role, must have completed or willing to complete Impairment Benefits training as facilitated by WorkSafe.
- Experience in client service role
- Knowledge of general business and administrative practices
- Industry specific qualifications: VWA and TAC Industry Training Programs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- PC Literate - Data Base and Microsoft Office
