The Impairment Benefits Specialist is to manage the end-to-end impairment determination process for injured workers in accordance with legislative requirements.

- Problem Solving & Decision Making: Strong analytical and reasoning ability
- Negotiation & Influencing: Ability to negotiate effectively
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills
- Work Management: Good organizational and time management skills
- Customer Service: Focus on serving injured workers and stakeholders
- Completion of AMA4 training by Work Safe Victoria
- Minimum 2 years' claims management experience (or equivalent)
- Experience working with the legal profession
- Extensive knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures, including treatments
- Experience managing hearing device claims
