We are looking for an administration (rostering) officer to join our team based out of our Ingleside office.
**About the role**
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our People & Culture team. This hands-on role will see you utilising every aspect of your rostering / scheduling and HR admin experience to deliver on EDHCS workforce planning initiatives. These are the main tasks in the role:
- Rostering support staff to our participants
- Reviewing shift notes and timesheets
- Assisting with reviewing planned and unplanned staff leave
- Undertaking admin duties related to managing the roster, liaising with staff/participants regarding changes and constantly reviewing the roster against participant requirements

Main duties / responsibilities:
- Assist the Facility Manager in the preparation and maintenance of costed Master Rosters and compliance with workforce budgets.
- Allocate and assign staff to shifts ensuring that industrial agreement, employment contracts, visa restrictions etc are taken into consideration. Backfill shifts as required.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete record management within the rostering system.
- Monitoring & maintenance of all attendance and absenteeism within the roster including unavailability in the roster, and unplanned absences, to ensure staffing needs are met, and necessary care is provided to our residents.
- Ensure communication of any roster changes within the legislative requirements.
- Provide reporting to the operation on exceptions and clear exceptions daily.
- Assisting in booking, preparing and setting up conference/meeting rooms and group events.
- Assist colleagues whenever needed.
**Required qualifications**:
- Proven ability to work in high pressure, high stress and fast paced environment.
- A Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Workforce Planning, Rostering or HR Administration role (preferred).
- Experience with scheduling and attendance system
- Current police record checks and Working with Children Check.
- A qualification in Allied Health, Social Care, Nursing or other health related qualification (preferred)
- Previous experience working in the Disability Sector, in a management role
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Experience in, and an understanding of, the SIL Management & Quoting process
- Experience in service delivery, encompassing initial enquiries, on-boarding, service delivery, and claims
