About the role

The Lending Officer reports to Team Manager with key responsibilities relating to credit review and assessment of variations for Home and Small Business customer of Bendigo Bank. This includes the review of customers financial position to meet credit and lending policy and the approval for variations to our customers security and loan products. This role plays an important role in a customer's loan life cycle and has a strong relationship to our lenders.

About you

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
Experience in consumer processing and undertaking credit reviews and assessments for home and personal lending is highly desirable, even better if you also have exposure to small business lending
Knowledge or Responsible Lending Practices
Knowledge of the National Credit Code and Code of Banking Practice is preferred
DLA preferred - but not essential

Of course great communication skills and attention to details will help you excel in this role.
