Residential Home Lending Specialist

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will assist clients with the origination of residential mortgage loans. You will provide in-depth analysis and expert advice to current and prospective clients on home lending solutions that meet their needs and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Generate new business by prospecting for home lending opportunities to build and develop client relationships and loan originations
- Originate and process 1-4 family residential real estate mortgage transactions according to established lending process and product guidelines
- Develop internal referral relationships as well as external partnerships to refer home lending opportunities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of available products and services as well as awareness of competitors and market offerings
- Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related field or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years Experience as a loan officer in first mortgage production (preferred)
- Working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, RESPA regulations, local and state real estate and finance laws (recommended)
