About the role

Daily Living Products is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant/Customer Service Officer. In this exciting dual full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection at our retail stores.  You will also work in our customer service department joining our team at our main office in Bayswater servicing our many commercial clients and playing a pivotal role in all aspects of customer service, including prompt and accurate processing of Sales Quotes, Sales Orders, Customer Enquiries and Order Requests via phone.

What you'll be doing

RETAIL - at one of our 5 retails stores as a fill-in when staff are on leave.

  • Delivering outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Demonstrating product knowledge to help customers find the right solutions for their needs
  • Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining store cleanliness, product displays, and inventory levels
  • Supporting the management team with administrative tasks as required
  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Work every second Saturday.

CUSTOMER SERVICE - at our head office in Bayswater.

  • Prompt and accurate processing of quote requests
  • Facilitate, process and maintain trial and hire requests
  • Ongoing follow up of outstanding quotes
  • Processing of quotes into sales orders
  • Build and maintaining solid customer relationships
  • Liaise with all stakeholders during the sales cycle ensuring our customer is your primary focus and is well informed during the entire supply chain process, by providing timely and relevant communications.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service and/or retail sales role, preferably in the Retail & Consumer Products industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation and organisation
  • Able to work every second Saturday at one of our retail stores.
  • A positive, friendly, and team-oriented attitude
  • Mobility Industry Experience (desirable)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Professional
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite

High levels of engagement with all internal/external stakeholders and help support and promote healthy working relationship
