MacKillop Catholic College is seeking applications from passionate and dedicated professionals to join our Inclusion Support Team. You will collaborate with teachers and staff showing initiative to support students with additional needs within the classroom to access curriculum while supporting students regulation.

All candidates need to be able to use Microsoft packages including Word; Excel; Outlook; and must be able to quickly learn other school-based computer packages.

The successful candidate must have cultural awareness and be able to communicate appropriately, both verbally and non-verbally, with students and staff of all ethnic backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support to students in a classroom setting
  2. Collaborate with teachers and support staff
  3. Foster positive and inclusive relationships within the school community

Highly Desirable:

Certificate III or IV in Education Support

Knowledge or previous experience working with students with additional needs

High school classroom experience

About the position:

  • Position commencing immediately.
  • 30 hrs per week, Monday to Friday

Must have a current Working with Children clearance.

Catholic Education Northern Territory requires all of its employees to abide by its policy documentation around safeguarding children and Sharer's of the Vision. This position requires the successful completion of a 6-month probation process.
