Roles and Responsibilities

Diploma Educators

  • Lead and implement engaging educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and contribute to continuous quality improvement across all seven Quality Areas
  • Mentor and support other educators, sharing your knowledge and expertise
  • Build strong, respectful partnerships with families
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the room and wider centre

Certificate III Educators

  • Assist in creating safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environments
  • Support children's daily routines, learning experiences, and wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with your team to deliver high-quality care
  • Contribute to documentation and observations of children's learning
  • Apply a working knowledge of the EYLF and NQF, ensuring practice aligns with best outcomes for children

Trainees

  • Learn on the job while studying towards your Certificate III
  • Work under the guidance of experienced educators
  • Support children's play, learning, and care routines
  • Be open to feedback, training, and continuous growth
  • Bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn

  • Hold (or be working towards) a relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education & Care – Diploma, Certificate III, or a willingness to start as a trainee
