Looking for a chef to join our tight knit team part time. Must be confident and calm in the kitchen as the right candidate will be required to cover the head chef on days off. Mix of Irish and quality pub food. Weekend availability a must, hardworking & reliable with an immediate start required. The successful candidate will:

Responsibilities:

  • Help prep and produce high quality food during service

  • Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards

  • Fill in for the head chef in organising prep and running service when necessary

  • Help with stock control and orders as needed

  • Enforce and comply with safety standards and regulations – Please note new safety and compliance will be enforced to keep our staff and customers safe.

Requirements:

  • Be able to showcase an understanding of the kitchen aka cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

  • Be a team player

  • 2-3 years of experience needed – pub experience a plus

  • Have appropriate working rights in Australia

Remuneration to be discussed upon successful interview
