Working for a global defence business based in North Brisbane, you will join a company that is undergoing significant growth. This position supports production ramp-up and operational readiness by managing SAP production master data, scheduling, and material flow. The contractor will ensure timely execution of production orders, supply checks, and SOP development for both production and warehouse processes during a transition period. You will gain hands-on experience working with senior management and ultimately grow your career.

Your new role

  • Validate and maintain SAP production master data (BOMs, routings, work centres, production versions).
  • Support creation and release of production orders, ensuring correct data application.
  • Manage material reservations in SAP and coordinate timely picking and staging with Warehouse.
  • Run MRP checks, monitor shortages, and collaborate with Purchasing and Warehouse for corrective actions.
  • Track production order status and reconcile discrepancies in SAP.
  • Produce operational reports and document transactional SOPs for ramp-up and improvement.
  • Draft and maintain SOPs for warehouse inventory movements, production order activities, staging, and WIP tracking.
  • Ensure alignment between SAP transactions and physical processes.
  • Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with WHS guidelines.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • SAP experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
  • Tertiary education in Business or relevant experience preferred.
  • Previous background in production planning and warehouse planning
  • Australian Citizenship is essential for this role.
