About the role

Looking for a part-time casual role repairing power tools? Cleveland Timber & Hardware in Bohle, QLD is seeking a skilled Power Tool Repair Technician to join their team. As a Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of power tools, ensuring our customers' equipment is functioning at its best.

What you'll be doing

  1. Inspecting, testing, and diagnosing issues with power tools such Paslode Framers
  2. Repairing faulty power tools by replacing worn or damaged parts
  3. Maintaining detailed records of all repairs and parts used
  4. Ensuring the workshop is clean, organised, and stocked with necessary repair parts

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a power tool repair technician, ideally within a hardware or tool supply environment
  2. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues with a wide range of power tools
  3. Keen attention to detail to maintain accurate repair records
  4. A commitment to safety and following proper workshop procedures
  5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
