Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician - Rework is responsible for completing work processes within the Heavy Grade Repair and Rework production area. The main scope of this role will focus on the removal and installation of vehicle components for revision updates, configuration and engineering changes in support of the rework program for the LAND 400 Phase 2 Boxer family of vehicles. The Technician will complete the work in accordance with Technical Instructions, Engineering Drawings, Quality Standards and WHS requirements.

About your new team

This role will report to the Rework Team Lead and will work alongside a team of Mechanics and Auto electricians; based full time at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) in Redbank. The Rework team forms part of the greater Service and Support team which includes Field Service Representatives, Maintenance Planners and Parts interpreters. Team members may be required to travel locally and interstate periodically to execute tasks on customer sites around Australia.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

• Cert III Mechanical/ Electrical Maintenance technician or equivalent;
• Relevant experience in Heavy Vehicle Assembly and Integration;
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings, manuals, and technical documents;
• Demonstrated understanding and the ability to apply quality control techniques;
• Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
