Wats on Events is gearing up for an exciting new summer bar activation at Pavilion Social. We're on the hunt for a dynamic, passionate Chef to lead our back-of-house team. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of the kitchen and play a key role in bringing one of the most talked about activations to life.

Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the day-to day culinary operations of the kitchen including ordering, staffing and food safety.
- Supervise all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and venue standards.
- Uphold food safety, hygiene and OH&S compliance at all times.
- Running kitchen operations effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure the food operations are within budgetary requirements for labour, product and operational expenses under the guidance of management.
- Monitor, evaluate and modify the quality and consistency of food and product delivery.
- Training and development of the kitchen team.
- Review and analyse the day-to-day operational needs of the business.
- Assisting in menu development for the Wats on Events Summer Bar Activation
- Managing food inventory, kitchen cleanliness and controlling costs to meet budgetary goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience in high volume functions or A La Carte service experience.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team.
- The ability to work under the pressure.
- The ability to adapt and work in temporary kitchens with limited resources.
- Able to deliver food that excites, engages and aligns with the brand.
- Exceptional attention to detail and presentation.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Reliability and punctuality throughout the activation period.
