Falcone Hospitalty is looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our kitchen brigade and learn the ropes alongside a supportive Head Chef and Sous Chef. The role will be split between our CBD venues – The Office Hotel in Sydney and The Haymarket Hotel in Haymarket.

This is the perfect role if you've finished your apprenticeship and have a year or two of kitchen experience and want to develop your skills in a fast-paced but friendly environment. This is a full time salaried position.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepping fresh ingredients and plating dishes to a high standard
  • Supporting the senior chefs during service – grill, pans, fryers, pass
  • Learning new techniques and helping to keep service running smoothly
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen
  • Upholding food safety and hygiene standards at all times

About You

  • A passion for cooking and eagerness to learn from experienced chefs
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Commis Chef
  • A positive attitude, reliable work ethic and strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a busy service environment
  • Flexibility to work a mix of day, night and weekend shifts
  • High attention to detail
